Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These Terms govern your use of Localize.to (“the service”). By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You need an account to store data in the service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction.
Your content
You retain full ownership of the localization keys, translations, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and serve that content solely to operate the service on your behalf. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your content to train models.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent usage limits, billing, or access controls.
- Do not use the API to spam, phish, or run high-frequency automated traffic beyond the documented rate limits.
- You are responsible for any third-party translators or collaborators you invite to your projects.
Billing
Basic usage is free. Paid features (additional credits, higher export volumes, extended API quotas) are billed according to the pricing shown on the landing page at the time of purchase. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we provide it on an “as is” basis without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, change features, or add new ones at any time.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay for paid usage, or abuse the service. On termination, your project data is removed within 30 days except where we must retain it to comply with law.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of revenue or data.
Changes
We may update these Terms when the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
